The following are noteworthy elements of Maurtia Falls during this current era of Padme Amidala.

Padme's primary focus will be cooperation between imPorts and establishing more native-Import rapport, as well as a side emphasis on trying to root out corruption in Maurtia Falls as a first step towards helping stop the prevalent violence.

Her immediate actions will be to speak to other Ambassadors / former Ambassadors / candidates and take steps to potentially make actions from this point on coordinated across cities and the Import population, since she was elected by the entirety of it rather than one City.

She is also working on a project to initiate a small reparations system, for people who find the government process too difficult to go through for inconveniences like broken windows / trampled gardens / etc but are still frustrated by them. While they won't be able to do any major reparations, she hopes to be able to set up a system whereby reparations for smaller damages such as that can be paid out by the Ambassador's office or a foundation set up by her that she can hopefully try to get Imports to fund. This is still in planning stages and will require some more IC work before I think it can be set up, but hopefully she'll be able to use the office of Ambassador to further it. The purpose is to hopefully make the reparation of damage more immediately done by the community that caused the harm, and bring some bridges.

She would also like to set up a forum for Import / Native communication at some point in the near future, though she is wary of doing that without very good planning due to the current climate. (Also. Her family.) The form that takes specifically will be dependent on her conversations with people, though.

Her first goal, always, is conversation and transparency. Her office is open between 9am and 7pm, officially, but her inbox is always open and there will be a sign on the door shortly indicating that if you need an appointment outside of those hours all that is needed is to contact her with a little bit of advance warning.

That's all I have at the immediate moment! I can elaborate more on some things and will keep you informed as others progress.

(Secretly, though, her biggest target is corruption in Maurtia Falls. She wants to crush it, but she knows that will be hard.)
